I was moving flats for the fourth time in 2009 and as I attempted to load my textbooks into my car it got me thinking; how much money did I waste on these textbooks?, have I ever read them since passing (failing) that exam?, why am I carting them around since they are worth nothing….?
As I pondered life’s questions, my unlucky friends continued to load up my car with my prized possessions (not the textbooks).
I had an epiphany. Why not rent them? It just makes more sense!
Three months later BookRenter.co.nz was launched offing rentals on 1000's of textbooks from the major tertiary institutes and Universities around New Zealand with savings of up to 75%.
